Objective: To create an optimised, stylish, and user-friendly website with improved UX/UI design elements and an incorporated Instagram feed.
Approach
Initially, Astral Studio Brows & Beauty had a WIX website that served its purpose but lacked the polish and enhanced functionality they desired. South Downs Web Design stepped in with the aim to not just transform the website visually but to elevate the overall online user experience.

The project was taken up with two key objectives: a complete redesign to elevate the site's look and feel and to seamlessly integrate Poppy's Instagram posts on the website.
A Bootstrap website was chosen because of its streamlined building tool capabilities, its flexibility, and its mobile-first approach, which makes UX/UI improvements significantly easier to implement.
We worked closely with Poppy to determine the exact feel and style she desired for the website. The aim was to mirror the luxury and aesthetic appeal of her services within the design.

Employing Bootstrap’s powerful framework, we built a chic and cohesive website that focuses on visual appeal without compromising on functionality.
The new design aligns perfectly with Astral Studio's high-end image—exuding elegance and sophistication while offering simplified navigation, which improved on the previous iteration's UI significantly. Through Bootstrap, the site was also optimised for mobile devices, ensuring that customers would have a consistent experience across all devices.
To add a dynamic touch and further engage visitors, we integrated Poppy's Instagram feed into the website. Her latest posts automatically appear on the site, keeping the content fresh and allowing her digital presence to be more cohesive and interconnected.
Outcome
While it's still early days, the feedback has been fantastic. The client is thrilled with the improved design aesthetic and the streamlined UI/UX, as well as with the successful Instagram integration.
