Environmental Regeneration LTD, an established company specialising in urban and rural environment conservation, already had a website. However, their website lacked detailed descriptions of their services and didn't lead users on a precise journey to obtain the information they needed. The site was also inadequately configured for local SEO and didn't optimally utilise image alt tags.

Goals:
When they approached us, the brief was clear: a total revamp of the website to clearly showcase their offerings, incorporate past project pictures, and, importantly, enhance navigation and the user journey.
Approach:
1. Platform Transition: We moved the site from WIX to Squarespace, opening up better design and SEO opportunities.
2. Strategic Structure: We divided the new website into distinct sections: about us, services, recent projects, and team. This structure made navigation intuitive and efficient for users.
3. Comprehensive Content: Their unique services were comprehensively explained, and new photos illustrating their work were added. This step was not only informative but also painted a picture of their skills and accomplishments.
4. Local SEO: The SEO setup was improved to place the website favourably in local searches. We ensured all images had relevant alt tags, enhancing search engine readability and accessibility.
Outcome:
The transition resulted in a structurally coherent and visually appealing website. With well-defined sections each detailing a different aspect of the business, users can now effortlessly navigate and understand their offerings. It's a tad early to report on website performance improvement. However, with the strategic redesign and enhanced SEO, we anticipate a visible increase in site traffic, user engagement, and local search engine ranking.
